Spotlight: Drag Brunch at Streats

By Southern Grit · On September 27, 2017

Article by Fitz

Little intimate venues often make for the best drag spaces. This couldn’t be more true for Streats in Norfolk’s historic Ghent. Normally known to me as one of the best bars to have solid late night eats, recently, Owner Neil Boden and company have debuted a raucous, tight, sweaty, delicious Drag Brunch not to be missed. Hosted by Jennifer Warner, an icon in the drag community, she is joined by fellow celebrated queen, Naomi Black, on the final Saturday of every month. All three shows thus far have sold out, and Warner, on more than one occasion, has strutted outside and stopped traffic, literally! If you are into pairing fabulous, up close and personal debauchery with tasty brunch bites, snag your ticket before they sell out.
